I have always loved being creative. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a designer and artist. I worked as a starving artist, graphic design assistant and textile designer before finding my niche as an illustrator for stationery products. In 2004, I launched a handmade greeting card company called Tori Higa Stationery. In 2008, I began a partnership with the nonprofit organization International Sanctuary to create handmade cards to benefit survivors of human trafficking. I also license my artwork and take on custom design projects. I love my life as a stay-at-home mom with a work-from-home job that allows me to use my design skills and art background on a regular basis. I hold a degree in Fine Arts from Pepperdine University.
